William Borden James
Over a 27 year career Mr James has established and successfully grown a number of businesses, as well as holding senior management roles in other businesses. He has extensive experience of the financial services industry but also has been involved in businesses in other industries. He began his career with Ruesch International in Washington DC providing spot foreign exchange solutions. He has also held a number of senior board level appointments for various foreign exchange businesses including CBFX LLC, Clarion Capital Group LLC and IFX Markets Inc. (which at the time was the US subsidiary of IFX Markets Plc) where he successfully built up new teams and business functions. Since 2008 he has been a director and Chief Financial Officer of Boston Merchant Management Services, Inc (“BMMS”) where his responsibilities include overseeing the management and operations of BMFN as well as all accounting and treasury management functions for BMMS. He holds a degree in economics from Hampden-Sydney College. He has previously held Series 3 and Series 30 licenses from the National Futures Association.
Norman Richard Connell
Mr Connell is an experienced legal and compliance professional who has held a number of senior roles within the financial services industry over a 13-year career and has experience working within start-up environments, both in and out of financial services. He began his career within regulatory compliance working for broker-dealers in Boston and later served as the Legal & Compliance officer for IFX Markets and Boston Merchant Management Services
He is experienced in the creation and implementation of regulatory compliance and risk control programs within start-up environments, including both the financial services and residential/commercial real estate industries. He is currently the owner and operator of Olympic Realty, LLC, a real estate brokerage firm specialising in transactions and investments in commercial and residential real estate.
Mr Connell holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Suffolk University and a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, a Notary Public of Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a licensed real estate broker.
Richard Allen Hartheimer
Mr Hartheimer is an electronic trading specialist with extensive experience of developing trading software and providing consultancy services, particularly relating to foreign exchange.
Over a 30-year career in the financial markets he has either worked or consulted for Citicorp, EBS Dealing Resources, Cognotec, Currenex, Standard Chartered Bank and DealHub. He represented Citicorp on the EBS board of directors and served as a director for Currenex UK. He is also an expert witness on cases dealing with electronic trading. He holds a degree in physics from Dickinson College and an MBA from Rutgers University.
